Update on our Holy Convocation in Bealeton Virginia July, 2007
and
Holy Convocation in Moravian Falls North Carolina
August 2007
From our Corresponding Secretary:
Last week, a small group of souls gathered together at The Holy Way, Bealeton, Virginia to worship the Lord and to seek His Presence over a period of four days. Though small in numbers, we represented an area that covered four states: Ohio, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia.
Being the reporter of this little synopsis, I confess that I struggled about going to this convocation. Well to my delight, and I would say for everyone who attended, the Lord came to us in a very special way, meaning there was an inner-knowing that Jesus was with us by His Spirit, guiding every thought, word, vision, prophecy, tongue, interpretation and song! As one person said,
"Everyone was on the same level and the same page with the Lord."
That, my dear friends is unity! Hallelujah!
It is difficult to put in words the extent to which the Lord was teaching us and blessing us, but I'll mention a few high-lights.
1. God will lighten our darkness. By Him we can run against a troop or leap over a wall. His way is perfect. His way is proven. (Ps.18:28-30)
2. We must "let go" of all things past that have hurt or impaired us.
3. Some of the things that have come against The Holy Way ministry,
(which belongs to Him,) seem decrepit, but they are actually a blessing!
To sum up this report, we were all filled with new fervor to be obedient to the Lord, especially in prayer; to totally trust Him and to remind Him of His promises to us.
It was just an awesome time, and everyone felt as though they we're flying, when it was time to leave.
All praise and thanks be unto Father God, for His favor, hope and expectation! Amen.
From our Corresponding Secretary:
We numbered about 15 souls gathered together the last week-end of July for a Holy Convocation at Bealeton, Virginia and it was good. Coming together with no advance agenda, we waited on the Lord and He blessed us!
Fr. Mike delivered an excellent word concerning our status. He reminded us of some important facts, which truthfully I had never thought about. First of all, in the minds of most of us, The Holy Way/USA has always been simply an extension of the work in Indonesia. ---No way!
We were reminded that the work in America has been in the pioneering phase, just as it was originally in Indonesia. Fr. Mike’s description of what it takes to “pioneer” was very vivid, and he and Linda should know first-hand from their North Carolina venture. First there is the initial cutting a swathe or a path through the thick forest to clear the land. Then there is contending with weeds, weather, vines, poisonous plants and varmints. There is endless chopping and clearing out of rocks to be tackled. Finally, when you think you’ve made some headway, there is dealing with roots, which seems endless.
I thought this analogy was excellent! How could any of us Americans have ever thought that we could simply “latch on” to the anointing favor and goodness of God without some blood, sweat and tears in the spiritual realm so to speak?
With this as a wake-up starter, the Lord then led us into beautiful times of worship, with new songs, scriptures and words of wisdom. Herry shared a dream he had about an old house being restored, and “restoration” seemed to be the recurring theme throughout the week-end.
We were especially blessed to have with us a dear brother from Mexico, whose testimony of God’s healing is awesome and another brother from Syria was able to spend one day with us.
The Lord Jesus in His great mercy was speaking words of hope to all of us who really want to do His will.
Blessings in His Name!

Scripture says, 'Walk by faith and not by sight'. For some of us that is easier said than done, but the Lord Jesus is faithful and true, and He means what He says. Where two or three are gathered together in His Name, He will be among them, and Jesus was with us, and still is.
From the very first night to the last afternoon, Jesus was here. It was easy at the first gathering to enter into the Lords presence. It was there that the Lord moved among us. Unseen unity in the Spirit became tangible as the Holy Spirit gave each person utterance. Encouragement was here, healing was here, and deliverance was in the house.
The Lord seemed to be doing some work on our idols. The Lord needed us to release them in order to allow His Spirit to work deeply within us. Idolatry, 'spiritual adultery' was defined as putting ones 'affections' on anything but God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is and was a tall order for those gathered. However as the convocation continued, our adulteries and idolatries were surrendered and we became ' a fellowship of like minded believers whose affections were set on God in Christ Jesus.
The real proof of God's manifestation among us is enduring fruit. At times God moved so quickly upon individuals that you could not have known it was happening until it was proclaimed.
In two cases that I can recall, one lady was set free deep down in her soul from a burden that was trying to destroy her. From looking at her one could have never known that she carried such a burden. From what I know, she is still free and walking closely with the Lord today, almost 3 weeks later.
Another man, a Pastor was strongly encouraged by the Lord in the Body of Christ. It seems that the words that came forth from others were the exact same words that the Lord was speaking to him in the Spirit. That Pastor has gone on, and against much opposition, continued to move in the Spirit. The Lord is teaching him to grow in maturity and the power of the Spirit.
Finally, at the end of one of the meetings we were asked to pray for a young lady that was diagnosed with cancer. Her name is Tina. We all agreed in prayer that the Lord would heal her. She was given very little chance of survival. To date, Tina, is trusting in the Lord for her healing.
We thank God for gathering us together, and look forward to what He has planned for the future.
