WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD: JESUS ANSWERS PRAYER IN  INDONESIA 

I have just received the following letter from Herry Stube, the President of The Holy Way in America. Sometime last week we had received an urgent prayer request from Herry concerning his brother Didik in Indonesia. Didik is Herry’s older biological brother, and Herry had just heard that Didik was experiencing Liver failure, and was expected to die. Herry asked us to pray, and the following letter is a wonderful testimony to Jesus’ answer to that prayer. I know that you will be blessed. MAC+  Dear Saints, First, I would like to give my gratitude to the Lord Jesus that He is Lord of Lords, Creator of all, and His power is never changed, today, tomorrow, and forever. Second, I want to thank all of you, my dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ, who have faith in Jesus alone, our Rock and our Faith. I have just had a conversation with my family in Mojokerto, Indonesia where my only biological brother Didik was taken and placed in a hospital bed suffering with liver failure, internal bleeding and other complications. His liver had already turned yellow because his liver had stopped working. Last week, when I had talked with my family, they said that all of my relatives from nearby cities had gathered together and were weeping, as were Dolly and I when we heard the news. At the time Didik was foaming with blood, and blood was even coming from his nose. Both his stomach and his legs were swollen up even though his body was very thin, just skin and bones because he had not had any food to eat for a month. Most of the family were saying that it was just a matter of time before Didik died. I asked my sister to put the telephone on his ear so that I could pray and tell him that salvation only comes from Jesus and He forgives all of our sins. The call was a very emotional one because Didik’s voice was very week, and I could hear everyone around him crying. After the prayer I felt so relieved in my spirit and was able to trust that God was going to do something good for my brother. The next day the Lord reminded me of 2 people that I could call to help my brother by going and praying for him. These two people were Stafanus Gunawan and Bu Yati. These two people have been with the Holy Way from the beginning. (Bu Yati is my Aunt who was a Muslim who met Jesus during Father Stube’s evangelical campaign in the 70’s) I called the two of them and told them the whole story about my brother’s condition and asked them to go and pray for Didik’s salvation and healing.  The following is the story that I heard from my brother Didik and my sister who waited by my brothers side day and night.  When Steven and Bu Yati came, they immediately prayed for Didik. After that Stafanus stayed for a few hours and left for home but Bu Yati stayed for two days and continued praying for Didik. That night Didik had a dream. In that dream there was a voice that said, “your body organs have had too much medicine and I want to change/replace all the organs that have been destroyed.” After that Didik felt his body under surgery, he felt his stomach open and hands work on it. Didik was asleep everything that was happening to his body. The next day he began to talk and tell his relatives about his dream, but most of them were clueless about what he was talking about. However, Bu Yati was still there and she began to explain what Didik’s prayer was about. She said that it was the voice of Jesus and He Himself did surgery on Didik. BU Yati asked Didik to confess that Jesus had come to Him and worked in his life. Didik did! What a wonderful miracle! Tonight when I spoke with Didik he was eating and begun to walk and I could hear that there was strength in his voice. Didik and his wife are very thankful for all of us that prayed for him. I told them that there was always miracles in Jesus and that they needed to thank Jesus. One more thing:  Bu Yati discerned from the Lord, while she was praying for Didik, that Didik’s medical problems were not just due to liver failure, but Didik’s sickness was also caused by a curse or a spell that someone had placed on the wall of his house. Bu Yati shared this with the wife and family and the wife confirmed right away that their next door neighbor is very evil. Bu Yati believes that the neighbor is deeply involved with Didik’s illness and had used a witch to curse or place a spell on Didik. Bu Yati prayed for the Holy Spirit to protect Didik’s house. It is common in the Muslim world that when someone is successful in business or there is family happiness that the spirit of jealousy spreads like a cancer among the neighbors and they try to disturb the peace in your family and try to destroy physical health and finances as much as they can. What a testimony we have! Jesus proves it over and over again. Our God is a living God, He is the God of resurrection and He is the Victory !! Please continue to intercede for Didik and his family. Pray also that God will continue to bring all families into His Kingdom. I believe that miracles are still happening today, He is doing it in me, in my family, and in all of you too. Jesus is a great God! Herry, Dolly, Cindy, and Julian p.s. I just received a report from Erwin, who had ministered with us here in Bealeton. His church is growing and filled with many Muslims who met Jesus in dreams. Many of them have come to his church and asked to be baptized. There is also a wonderful report from The Holy Way Foundation in Manado. Many new house fellowships are opening in different cities. They are sending students out to different islands to evangelize and many are coming to Christ. God is doing His own things! I will write a detailed report for The Holy Way web.
